Michigan DNR Free Fishing Weekend

For two days, all fishing license fees are waived across Michigan as part of the DNR's 'Three Free' weekend (free fishing, free ORV riding, and free state park entry). Residents and out-of-state visitors can fish both inland lakes and Great Lakes waters for all species, no license required. A Recreation Passport is not required to enter state parks and boating access sites during the weekend. All standard fishing regulations still apply.
